Puppy Classes

Our Puppy Class is a completely new approach to Puppy and Owner training, incorporating years of research and development with hundreds of dogs and the most up to date scientific evidence.

It is designed and structured around the needs of Owners who want to do more than just the basics and who are looking to give their Puppy the best possible start in life.

The course looks at the science behind imprinting and training, one-way engagement, increasing drive, how to use food, effective play, helping your dog change gears, creating a neutral dog in new environments, and the fundamentals of heel work.

We will equip you with the knowledge and competence to structure your puppy's environment, training, socialisation and routine - to help maximise the dogs' natural abilities. By the end of this course, the aim is to not only teach your puppy the basics but to have prepared your puppy to be better able to learn.

Priced at £150, the course has 8 practical sessions, 50 mins in duration and an active WhatsApp group where you can ask questions and have access to instructor help and advice.  Also included is access to the video library of all the individual exercises from the course.

Motivation & Focus
(Foundation)

If there is one thing that all dog owners want, it is to have their dog focus on them, especially when presented with distractions. What our dog focuses on us says a lot about our relationship and the value that our dogs place on us, especially when outdoors.

The aim of this course is to give all participants an increased knowledge of what motivates their dog and how to use that knowledge to increase their dog's focus on them.

We explore the relationship between a dog's motivation and achieving better focus around distractions. We also look at how our dog's communicate and what happens when we start to communicate effectively with our dog.

By increasing your dog's motivation to train and work with you you will strengthen your bond and build your value against distractions.

This is a 6 week course for £125 that combines lots of practical work, in an outdoor setting, with aspects of theory as well. This course is suitable for dogs 12 weeks+ and would benefit all dogs, no matter where they are on their training journey.

Motivation & Focus
(Intermediate)

So what is Intermediate Motivation and Focus?

We look to build on everything that you have learnt and developed in the Introduction to Motivation and Focus course. We start adding structured obedience, such as sits and distance downs, while still maintaining the dogs drive and motivation to engage with us. By doing so we drastically increase the dogs ability to make good decisions, when faced with distractions.

Participants will gain an understanding on how to systematically test their dogs while ensuring they get the outcomes they are looking for. As well as continuing to build motivation and focus we also will focus on sits, downs and recall (with distractions).

This is a six week course for £125.

This course is suitable for those who have completed our Foundation Motivation and Focus course. In certain instances puppies from our Pupper course may also be suitable to advance to this course.

Anyone wishing to join this course, who have not completed the courses mentioned, will need to undergo a 1:1 assessment before being allowed on the course.

Motivation & Focus
(Advanced)

This course is a culmination of everything that you have learnt and worked on in the Foundation and Intermediate courses.  We take the skills (and dogs) on the road and expose you to a range of environments and help owners understand how to help their dogs become more relaxed.

Participants will continue to gain a greater understanding on how to systematically test their dogs while ensuring that their dogs continue to build confidence in new and potentially stressful settings. During the 6 sessions we will train within settings such as train stations, shops, cafes, and bars.

This is a six week course for £125.
